I had a lot of fun making these gift boxes today, here's another one....

Two Christmas cards I made with the ladies at CWA craft night.

50th Birthday card - flowers

This is the second card Mum asked me to make....

I stamped and then used the blendability pens to colour the flowers.  I used the following products from Stampin' Up!....

• Rich Razzleberry cardstock
• Whisper white cardstock
• I like you stamp set
• Rich Razzlebury Blendabilities markers
• Old Olive Blendabilities markers

I knew the person this card is for has a favourite colour which of course is Purple.

The card also fit perfectly into a c5 envelope.

Both 50th cards were sent to Mum yesterday so I do hope they like their cards :)

50th Birthday card - Holy crap

My mum rang and asked me to make a couple of 50th birthday cards for her.  When looking through Pinterest I come across a card by JJ and thought it was a great idea!  This is my take on the card...

I used the following from Stampin' Up! ...

• Whisper white cardstock
• Coastal Cabana cardstock
• All is Calm specialty designer series paper
• Rhinestone Jewels

Since the card was too thick to put into an ordinary envelope I had to make a box for it to fit in.  I used Retro fresh this and that washi tape around the edges.  The I did change to ribbon as I didn't like the gold too much and changed it to Whisper White 1/4"

cotton ribbon which looked much better but didn't take a photo of it before I sent it to mum.

Mum thought it was great :)
