Then after the workshop I made my very first pop up box card.
Now it's in the mail going to one of my very bestest of friends as she needs it at this time.

Workshop Cards

I had a workshop for one today and made these cards....

I cased them from Pinterest.

Save the date card

Well my daughter turns 21 on New Years Eve this year so I am beginning to get things organised as everything will book out so quickly at that time of the year.  So I've started on the save the date cards to send out ASAP as people organise their New Years early too.  So here it is....

The actual invite I will do fairly similar. I'll be sure to post it once I've worked it out.  :)

Have a good night,

Donna

Love is Kindness card

Hi everyone, well I've finally made my first card for the year and here it is....

I used the following...

Love is kindness stamp

Something Lacy stamp
Island Indigo 1/4" ribbon
Island Indigo cardstock
Whisper White cardstock
and Rich Razzleberry Blendabilities - the lightest shade
This card is quite simple to make, I started with the A4 Island Indigo and cut it in half.
Fold one of the halves in half make sure to use your bone folder along the folded edge to make it a nice crisp fold.
I then cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock so it was 1/2 a centimeter smaller on every side to the folded card. Which is about 14 x 9.5 cm.
Ink up your Something Lacy stamp using Island Indigo Stamp pad and stamp onto this piece of whisper white cardstock.
Cut another piece of  Island Indigo  to 12.5 x 8 cm.
Cut a piece of Whisper white cardstock to 11.5 x 7 cm. Stamp your love is kindness stamp onto the centre of this piece of cardstock using Island Indigo Stamp pad.  Then using the lightest shade of the Blendabilities Rich Razzleberry pen colour in the flowers.
Then using snail adhere the Something Lacy stamped piece of cardstock onto the folded card, then adhere the piece of Island Indigo cardstock and then the Love is Kindness stamped cardstock on top of that.
Then cut a piece of Isand Indigo Ribbon tie into a bow and attach to your card.  Then your finished, or if you wish you can adhere a bit of white cardstock to the inside of the card as well.

Hope you can follow my instructions and enjoy making this card :)

Merry christmas

I hope everyone has had a great Christmas and a happy new year!  I have only just returned from holidays at Zilzie Qld with my parents and brother who actually lives in England so was pretty great having chrissy with him and then to Hervey Bay partying with my bestie for her hubby's 50th.

This is my first week back into the swing of things and have been flat out with my ironing clients therefore no crafting for me as yet. Hopefully I will get to it really really soon!

Chow for now
