Precious Parcel Card Kit

In my last order I spent enough on products to earn a free Level 1 product from the Sale-a-bration catty.
I chose the Precious Parcel Card Kit and yesterday I got time to put it together.
It is such a cute set and easy to do.

The photo's really don't do it justice!  It is really a cute set.

This is what you start with, the right side is the front of the card, the left is the back of the card.
On the front of the card you place a sticker just under the slot and a gold corner sticker on both bottom corners.
Poke out the holes and slot.
Thread the supplied cotton through the two holes and tie a bow.
The 2 strips down the sides, pull them off and stick the flap down.
Then take one of the little cards, using the supplied paperclip clip the postage stamp onto it.  Slip the little card into the slot.
Fold the card and you are finished!  So simple and you end up with 8 gorgeous cards!

A great set for a beginner card maker or quick and easy cards.
Just one of the options you can choose when you spend over $90 (without p&h added).

Kiss card

I wanted to share with you a card that I was asked to make.  The person receiving this card is a huge Kiss fan.  I managed to find pictures of their first album released in 1974 plus pictures of the LP as well.  I was stoked!

Here is a video of the finished card.  I did a video because it was hard to show it in pictures.

I hope you all have had a lovely day.  I am going to be doing some crafting on Saturday with some friends and can't wait!!  I will post what I have done 😃

I'm also excited as my son will be visiting for a few days.  He works in Western Australia so I don't get to see him very often....yay!!

Have a crafty weekend everyone!

Instructions
Card base: Crushed Curry cardstock cut to 10.5 cm x the length of the cardstock (approx 30 cm).  Fold in half to form a card that measures 10.5 cm x 14.8 cm.
1st layer: Cut Basic grey cardstock to 10 cm x 14.3 cm.  Then run through the bigshot using the Hexagons Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
2nd Layer: Using Crushed curry cardstock cut one of the cogs using the die from the set.  You will need to cut 2 of the cogs from the left hand side of so you can separate them under the folded DSP.
3rd Layer: Cut a piece of the Classic Garage 6" X 6" (15.2 X 15.2 Cm) Designer Series Paper (preferably one that has some Crushed Curry colour in it) to a 10 cm square piece.  On each side of the square mark the halfway point (5 cm) then score across each corner the the other mark. Then again at 2.5 cm.

Then fold the 5 cm flap into the middle and the 2.5 cm back to the outside.

Stamp the fathers day sentiment from the Geared Up Garage stamp set onto a piece of Crushed Curry cardstock using the Black ink.  Cut out the shape using the matching die piece.  Place 3 dimensionals on the back and place in the middle of your piece of DSP you just folded.
Final Step: Position the cogs where you want them on the grey cardstock remembering they go slightly under the folded DSP, glue down when happy. Then position folded DSP into the middle of the embossed grey cardstock on top of the cogs.  Making sure they are all positioned centrally on the grey cardstock. Then glue that down making sure the opening of the card is on the right side otherwise you will have a left side opening card (hmmmm maybe this could be good for left handers like my Mum :) ) Oh and make sure you have the sentiment up the right way too.

You are finished……now admire your craftiness :)

I have been into macrame at the moment as well and am really enjoying it!  What other crafts do you do?
