Father's Day Card using Born to Ride

Thought I'd make my Dad a father's day card using the Born to Ride Stamp set with the Crazy About You stamp set.

I used Whisper White, Night of Navy & Real Red cardstock; Night of Navy and Real Red stamp pads.  I am loving the silver metallic thread as well!!

Born to Ride

I am loving this stamp set!!!  Last night and this morning I have made these cards using the Born to Ride Stamp Set.

With is one I used Real Red, Black and Whisper White cardstock.  I fussy cut the Born to Ride stamp and silver metallic thread.

This one I used Night of Navy, Grey and Whisper white ink and whisper white and night of navy cardstock plus some silver.  There is also a punch to punch out the shield, which makes things a lot easier!

I used the same cardstock and ink as the card above this one.  The born to ride stamp has been fussy cut as well.

Wedding cake for Exploding box card

Hi Everyone!!  I thought I would give you a sneak preview of an exploding box card that my bestie asked me to make as she is going to a wedding.

What I'm about to show you is what I will be putting in the middle of the box.

I think it is quite sweet.... let me know what you think!

I have also put a touch of Wink of stella on the edges of the flowers but the photo doesn't really show it.  I will keep you posted with the rest of the card :)

Thank you card using Floral die

I had a play with sponging and I think it turned out quite good.  What do you think?
First of all I cut a piece of cardstock for the card front. Chose 3 colours.

I then started with the lightest colour and rubbed across the DSP cardstock using the sponge, the printed design doesn't take on the ink so it stays white.  The cardstock I used here is from the last catalogue but you can use the latest DSP cardstock from this catalogue...
I usually cut my sponge in 1/4's.

Then place the floral die on top of the sponged cardstock.
Run it through the bigshot.  You can see here I am using the magnetic plate but you can also use the precision plate which works a lot better with intricate dies like this one.

Precision Base Plate

I then used the fine tip glue pen (fantastic for intricate or small things) to adhere it to the card base.  But before I did I put wink of stella over the base to give it a winkle through the flowers.

I cut a separate small piece for the stamped image using versamark then heat embossed with copper embossing powder.

And of course finished off with a couple of rhinestones.

If you want any further details let me know :)
