October Hostess Code

Hi Everyone!!  I've decided to do a Hostess code for the month of October PLUS if you order in the month of October and spend more than $50 (Postage & Handling not included) you will receive FREE a packet of Dimensionals to help pop those embellishments or sayings off the page!

Ok you may be thinking what if I spend $100 am I entitled to 2 packets?
Answer - YES you are!  It will go in $50 lots e.g. if you spend $150 in one order you will receive 3 packets!

These will be posted out separate to your order.  Once I see you have placed an order I will pop them in the post for you.

You need to live in Australia to be able to order from me is the only catch.

This offer is not offered by Stampin' Up! ® themselves but by Donna Todd as an Independent Stampin' Up! demonstrator only.

Here is the Hostess Code you need to use:

So Santa Shadow Box

Hi everyone!  Coming to you from my desk at work again :)

On our long weekend I was busy gardening, doing some more on my Scrapbooking Memories and More style and creating some SOOOO cute little shadow boxes for Christmas that you can hang on your tree or anywhere really!

This is me with my mate at Bunnings when I was buying some more plants.  Isn't he just an adorable statue??  I wanted to take him home but just didn't have the spare $700!

The following photos are of my back verandah....

My old girl managed to get in the photo too, she is 12 years old.  My German Sheppard managed to stay out of the photos and she is 5 years old.

Now the most exciting bit....My shadow boxes!
They are about 7cm square and 1cm thick.

I used the So Santa Stamp set and the Peaceful Poinsettia Stamp set.
Coloured with Stampin' Blends and then put some Embossing Paste on his hair, beard and moustache.
The sentiment I used white embossing powder.

I hope you like them!  I think they are super sweet!

Take care everyone.

Scrapbooking

Hey everyone, I'm coming to you from my desk at work 😃

Scrapbooking

Who is into Scrapbooking?

I used to do a lot of scrapbooking years ago but then sort of stopped and cardmaking took over.  But I have been getting back into it lately, especially since the birth of my grandson.  I am loving the Memories and more that I sell through my business with Stampin' Up!  It is so easy to do with the pockets and cards you can buy.  It is probably the lazy style scrapbooking or the "Haven't got much time" scrapbooking.  But I love it!

Here are a couple of examples that I've done for my Grandson's 1st birthday.

It's just a matter of slipping the photo's in the pockets with some cards and you are done.  You can journal on the cards as well.  When I am home I will take some more snaps and show you more of what I have done.

For my grandson's birthday I travelled from my home in Narara NSW to Ipswich Qld and also lumped all my camera gear with me - lights, light stands, camera, leads etc.  The next day after everything had settled down after his party I set up this area to take some shots of him with the left over cake.  I loved how the photo's turned out!  I haven't done this sort of photography for such a long time and it felt good to do it again.  At least now it is digital and I can see what I've taken to make sure it is a good shot 😃😃 Got to love modern technology sometimes!

I hope you are all having a great day!

Nautical box card

I have been busy lately getting this order finished.  The recipient is in the Navy, so you can guess the theme :)

I really enjoyed making this box card.

I found this glass ornament and thought it would be perfect for the centre piece of the card.  It was so light!

For the writing I stamped with versamark and then used the copper embossing powder.

Hope you all had a great weekend!

Dad/Fathers Day card

OMG where has the time gone??  It's been nearly a month since I last posted!!  I have been busy with work and then visiting my daughter in Queensland to help her pack up her house as they are moving to another house and of course lots of cuddles with my grandson.  Let me show you a card I made...great for Father's Day or a birthday.

I used TROPICAL ESCAPE 6" X 6" (15.2 X 15.2 CM) DESIGNER SERIES PAPER, Whisper White and Pear Pizzazz cardstock, the LETTERS FOR YOU PHOTOPOLYMER STAMP SET and the HARDWOOD CLEAR-MOUNT STAMP. With EARLY ESPRESSO CLASSIC STAMPIN' PAD.

Quite a simple card to make but effective.
Cut the DSP 1/2 cm smaller all round then cut a strip of whisper white cardstock the same length as the DSP and stamp with the Hardwood stamp and Early Espresso ink.  Stamp the letters DAD from the Letters For You stamp set in Early espresso ink then either fussy cut or if you have the matching dies use them.  The letters I used dimensional's to stick them to the card. Just to give them a little pop.

All these products are available from the annual catalogue, just click on the Shop Pages button on the left of this page.

My husband gave this card to his Dad for Fathers Day today.

Hope you have all had a super weekend and your Dad's had a great Fathers Day!

My gorgeous boy is growing up so fast....
