Corset Bridal Shower invite

Here's another update.

As you have probably noticed I used a smaller eyelet.  My husband ended up breaking the eyelet setter I bought from spotlight (though he did take it to work and fixed it, you can see where he fixed it in the photo on the right. I couldn't ask for a better hubby!).  But I bought a Crop-a-dile...so easy to use!  I one thing I found though it doesn't come with extensive instructions.  But I figured it out.

Well time to pack up and head to bed, have a good night everyone.

Bridal Shower invites

Well I've been commissioned to make some Bridal Shower Invitations.  I've started the designing process.....

Stay tuned for the outcome!

Don't forget to have a look at the retiring products before they are all gone. Just click on the Farewell picture below.

Who can't wait for the new catalogue to come out on the 1st June??  I know I can't!

Hope you are all having a fantastic weekend!  I went and visited my daughters horse today. She hasn't had her very long and was a rescue horse.  She is a beautiful horse with a lovely nature!

Until next time!

Train card for Father in law

It's my Father in laws birthday today and he loves trains so this is the card I made for him and it's using one of the new colour ranges in the new catalogue too.

I love the antique brads, it is a shame you can't get them anymore :(

For the embossed background I used the World Traveler Textured Impressions Embossing Folder from the Occasions Catalogue which ends on the 31st May so if you like it and you want it click on the picture to take you straight to it to order :)

The Stamp set I used is the Traveler Clear-Mount Stamp Set.
The happy Birthday Stamp is from the Occasions Catalogue which don't forget ends on the 31st May so if you like this stamp set click on the picture to take you to where you can order it.
The twine was white which I coloured using Tip Top Taupe and a dauber. You could also use the Linen thread too if you wanted.
You will also notice I used the dauber to rub some Tip Top Taupe around the edges of the Very Vanilla card stock as well.  And lastly the Antique brad which unfortunately are no longer available but you could use one of these Gold basic metal buttons which I will need to order some of myself....

I hope you enjoyed my card and if you would like to make similar cards you can join my Monthly stampin club I hold at my place, unfortunately you will have to live on the Central Coast of NSW Australia to join in.  But it will be fun :)

Til next time...

Baby Shower invite

I've been asked to make some Baby shower invitations....it is in the design stage right now and the writing is only on a piece of paper it will be on the card stock when done properly. Nothing is stuck down just placed until I decide I like it :)

So what do you think?

I don't have the proper details yet so just made something up to put on there.

The little baby suits are from a stamp set out of the new catalogue that's coming out REAL soon!!! Oh and some new colours too ;)

Hope you all had a great weekend, lets bring on the next weekend so we can craft some more !!

Easel Card - Male 70th

Since I'm laid up for a couple of days and my Mum asked me to make a 70th birthday card for her and dad to give to a friend of theirs this is what I made.

For the "Look who's turning" which the stamp is from the Number of Years stamp set. Instead of hand cutting the shape I used two different sized circle dies then just cut the ends. I also used embossing powder for the "Look who's turning" and also the "70" and "Happy Birthday"

This is called an easel card and very easy to make.
I used the following stamp sets - Balloon Celebration and Number of years then used the Large numbers framelit dies...

Once my internet is back up and running I will fix this blog as it is difficult doing it on my phone. - Ok fixed it up a bit and added a bit :)

Hope you are having a great day x

New Catalogue preview

Happy Mothers Day!!!

Well I did get to do some crafting this morning and made a sticky note holder for my husbands Mum for Mothers Day.

But first I went through my stamps and dies and tidied up a bit.

This is what I come up with using products from the new Catalogue due out very soon!

These are so quick and easy to make!

Would you like a preview of the new catalogue???
Okay okay....here it is.....

Sorry but that is all I can show you.
As you can see I've marked the pages with products I want...there are more markers but you just can't see them!

The following are cards we made at Onstage live in Sydney...

This card folds over and is super cute.

This one is a shaker card I tried to take looking down along it so you could see it wasn't flat, I had never made one until that day and then I made one for my Mum for her 70th.

I hope all you Mums out there have been spoilt today. I'm still waiting for my kids to come and visit me.  I rang my Mum this morning as she lives in Queensland and I live in New South Wales and she was on the road on their next adventure with the caravan in tow.

Here's to a great day, see you next blog :)

Happy Mothers Day

Hi my fellow crafters..

I hope you have had a chance to look at the retiring products as you only have a couple of more weeks while stocks last.

I'm hoping tomorrow I can sit down and do some crafting, my mothers day gift to myself so I've been busy today trying to get my washing done so I can. Except my daughter wanted me to go shopping with her this morning so of course I couldn't refuse :)

I'm thinking I might make some sticky note holders again, I haven't made those in ages.

I guess I will have to wait and see what takes my fancy tomorrow.  Maybe I will get Pinterest inspired!  Don't you love Pinterst?? It is a great source of inspiration for any project you want to tackle.

I can't wait for the new Stampin' Up catalogue to come out in June as there is this one stamp set that is soooo cute and I'm sure you will love it too!

To any mothers out there I wish you a Happy Mothers Day tomorrow! I hope your children spoil you or if they're not old enough to spoil you have made you something very special.

From me to you xx
